Contagious Knowledge: An Infectious Disease Symposium for Medical Providers

In collaboration with the Partnership for a Healthier Southwest Louisiana, Common Street Clinic, and the Southwest Louisiana Area Health Education Center (SWLAHEC), we proudly present Contagious Knowledge: An Infectious Disease Symposium for Medical Providers.

Join us at the Lake Charles Event Center for a day filled with engaging sessions and expert-led discussions on a wide range of infectious disease topics. Presentations will cover syphilis, hospital-acquired infections, vector-borne, foodborne, and waterborne illnesses, as well as hepatitis C.

The event will also feature a dynamic Hot Topics Panel with healthcare providers from diverse backgrounds—including pediatrics and veterinary medicine—offering unique perspectives on emerging issues in infectious disease.

Lunch and continuing education credits will be provided.
