The contactfestival freiburg is an annual event, which supports and facilitates an international exchange of the dance form Contact Improvisation.It offers a group of about 250 participants the opportunity to dive into an intensive week long process to explore the dance form. During the days in the classes and workshops, as well as in the evenings in the less structured jams, you'll be able to discover new things, and digest the experience.
With over 20 international teachers, supported by many former and intended teachers, you will find a lively exchange between the lecturers and learners.
The Festival gathers people of different cultures and backgrounds.
The contact ideas of inclusion, respect and self-responsibility are accompanying us during the week, creating a generous and supportive atmosphere.
With the wish to make the Festival accessible to everyone, we offer work exchange opportunities for those people who are traveling from far and need some financial support. These places are restricted.
