Join us for another evening of movement and connection, with guest teacher Niku Dhillon, who will guide a class entitled 'Core Connections'.All levels welcome, beginner friendly!

* Class: 6pm - 7pm
* Tea Ceremony & Jam: 7:15pm - 9pm
About the Class:
We're diving into a foundational element of Contact Improvisation - the wonderful world of possibilities that opens from core-to-core connection.
Come develop and refine the fundamentals that support easeful partner flow into endless patterns: moving fluidly into and out of the floor, discovering easeful weight-sharing, and opening into moments of effortless flight!
The Jam:
We’ll begin with a tea ceremony leading into an evening of connection and play through contact improvisation, authentic movement, and ecstatic dance.
Exchange:
Class (6pm - 7pm): Pay what you can.
Enjoy the class, then offer what feels like a good balance between the value your received and your available resources. Could be $5, could be $25, or a hug and a supportive word.

About Niku:
Niku has been practicing Contact Improvisation for over 12 years, with roots in Contemporary Dance at the University of Calgary. Drawing from a year and a half of studying and facilitating CI across North America, he enjoys creating warm, welcoming spaces for people to explore together with intention.
As somatic facilitators, our intention with this weekly gathering is to weave community through dance; attune to our bodies & the bodies of others; and explore authentic movement in a safe, tender, & courageous way.
