Community invited to celebrate November 14 at 4 p.m. and children are especially encouraged to attend!The Children’s Museum of Rome is thrilled to announce a major milestone in its mission to bring an interactive, educational, and engaging museum experience to the community: a permanent location has been secured inside the Mount Berry Mall.
To celebrate this exciting milestone, the museum will host a “Construction Commencement” event in conjunction with the Rome Floyd Chamber on Thursday, November 14 at 4:00 p.m.
This event marks the next big step in bringing the Children’s Museum of Rome to life. Families, community members, and local leaders are invited to join the celebration, and children are not only welcome, they’re encouraged to attend!
Guests will get a first look at plans and renderings for the museum space and have an opportunity to meet the team and community partners helping make the vision a reality.
The Children’s Museum of Rome will feature hands-on exhibits and experiences designed to inspire learning through play, imagination, and exploration. The organization has been working closely with local partners, educators, and families to ensure the museum reflects and serves the unique spirit of the Rome community.
The public, of all ages, is encouraged to attend the Construction Commencement and be part of this exciting milestone.
