About this Event

Are you interested in a career in construction or trades? Fairfax County Employment Services and Northern Virginia Construction Careers Coalition (NV3C) will host a Construction and Trades Job Fair on October 1st at the Fairfax County Pennino Building to meet with employers who have openings ranging from entry-level laborer up to project manager!

To ensure a smooth experience, the event will operate with staggered entry, offering three designated time slots at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 12:00 PM. Each timeslot will run for one hour, allowing attendees to engage with hiring representatives in a structured and manageable setting. We encourage attendees to sign up for the 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM timeslot to spread out the flow of candidates. Registration is highly encouraged to secure your preferred time slot and make the most of the event.

📝 Make the most of your fair experience:

  • Come dressed for success!
  • Bring multiple copies of your resume. For help with your resume and other career support, review our Employment Readiness section below.
  • We will list employers who plan on attending the fair as they sign up on this page.
  • We recommend you visit the employer websites, review their openings, and apply for any positions you are interested in.
  • When you attend the fair, let the employer representative from each company know what positions you applied for.

  • Parking: There is a parking garage behind the building.
