Produced by David Prater (Dream Theater, Firehouse), the 5-song album reveals more of the heavy metal influence the band has always had while also including the improvisational and cultural elements they have become synonymous with. This new collection of material certainly showcases their cutting edge instruments and technical virtuosity but the focus here is on the songs, chock full of catchy riffs and melodies ranging from delicate and heartfelt to full on headbanger’s ball.
