About this Event
Over the past three years, the 6th Branch has transformed their farming practices—reducing tillage, introducing new cover-cropping practices, and have planted several thousand square feet of pollinator-friendly, native, perennial plants on their 1-acre site in East Baltimore’s Oliver Neighborhood. Join us at one of the three urban farms managed by The 6th Branch and enjoy an exploration of the successes and challenges faced by a small-scale, conservation-minded farm that has also doubled its harvest yields two years in a row.
The tour will be led by Liz Lamb, Community Farming Program Manager at The 6th Branch, who will share insights into the farm’s journey.
See you there!
This event is hosted in partnership with The Chesapeake Bay Foundation and The 6th Branch.
