Learn how the KCZoo’s investment in mattresses and fuel-efficient stoves is helping cranes in East Africa! Join us for an evening with Dr. Adalbert Aine-omucunguzi of the African Crane Conservation Programme on Friday, February 28, from 7-8:30 pm.We will shine a spotlight on the Zoo’s partnership with the International Crane Foundation and the Endangered Wildlife Trust as Dr. Adalbert Aine-omucunguzi discusses how implementing nature-positive strategies benefit cranes, wetlands, and communities.
• General admission tickets to this lecture are $20, Friends of the Zoo (FOTZ) member tickets are $15, and student tickets are $10. Doors open at 6 pm with food and beverages available to purchase.
• Get the VIP experience! This $50 ticket includes a reception from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, a meet & greet with Dr. Adalbert Aine-omucunguzi, appetizers, and complimentary beverages.
• Bring the kids! We will provide child-friendly conservation programming for ages 5-12. The cost is $20 per child with the purchase of a VIP ticket or $10 per child with the purchase of a general admission ticket.
