Climate anxiety is becoming increasingly common, particularly among people who care deeply about the future of the environment and society.
This thoughtful Conservation Kōrero explores how we can navigate uncertainty without becoming consumed by fear, helplessness or burnout. Through reflections on resilience, values and the restorative effects of nature, Dr Ivan Lin discusses how confidence can emerge from staying present and taking meaningful action aligned with what matters most.
Dr Lin is a medical doctor, speaker and workshop facilitator with experience delivering public and professional wellbeing programmes focused on resilience, emotional wellbeing and the relationship between people and the natural world.
This event will be held in the Pāteke Room on the Visitor Centre, with doors opening at 1.45pm. Parking is available outside the Visitor Centre, along Waiapu Road, and at our overflow carpark on Birdwood Street. Zealandia's free shuttle will be running it's usual schedule.
