You don't want to miss the buzzworthy program! Join Kylee Noel (Illinois Natural History Survey Medical Entomology Laboratory) to learn about a bug who sometimes unfortunately prevents us from enjoying our Forest Preserves: mosquitoes. The Mosquito Ambassador Program is a community science initiative that allows you to contribute to mosquito research from your home. It is great for getting the whole family involved in science. We will also discuss backyard mosquito management, bite prevention, and the ecology of mosquitoes. For more info: (217) 896-2455 or [email protected]
