Korea excelled in printing with movable metal type over seven hundred years ago, long before such printing was common in Europe. At the Chuseok Family Festival, join one of our conservation scientists for an introduction to its history in Korea. Examine reproductions of six-hundred-year-old movable metal type and hear about some of the current research on Korean printing at the museum.
Cost: free, no registration or tickets (walk-up only).
