Conscious Nona's Winter Solstice Celebration

Join Conscious Nona for a heartwarming and soulful Winter Solstice Celebration!

Mark the shortest day of the year and the sacred return of the light with our conscious community. This family-friendly gathering is a beautiful opportunity to connect deeply with Mother Earth, honor ancient traditions, and set powerful intentions for the season ahead.

Date: Saturday, December 21st Time: 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Location: Moss Park – Group Camping Fire Pit (Meet at Group Campsite C)

• Nature Gathering Hike (3:30 PM): We begin our journey with a mindful hike through the beautiful Moss Park trails. Along the way, we will respectfully gather natural elements to use in our ceremony.
• Creative Connection & Community (4:15 PM): We will settle by the fire to enjoy hot cider, participate in our Cookie Swap (bring your favorite dozen to share!), and get creative! We will craft a special hanging decoration—perhaps a festive piece or mistletoe—using the natural items we gathered.
• Setting Intentions & Yule Log Ceremony (5:30 PM): We will collectively build, decorate, and set intentions into our Yule Log. As the sun dips below the horizon, we will gather for a guided Fire Meditation and the sacred Yule Log Burning Ceremony, inviting light and vision into the new year.
• Fireside Connection: Enjoy time for connection, socialization, and s'mores with fellow like-minded souls as we celebrate the closing of the year and the start of winter.

Schedule

3:00–3:30 PM: Arrival & Settle In

3:30 PM: Hike Begins

4:15 PM: Fireside Gathering, Crafts, & Cookie Exchange

5:30 PM: Meditation & Fire Ceremony

What to Bring: Warm clothing (we will be outside the entire time), a water bottle, bug spray, cookies to share for the swap, and a comfortable chair for fireside seating.

Ages: All ages and families are welcome!

Park Entry:When you arrive at Moss Park, inform the gate attendant you are with the Conscious Nona Group at Campsite C to have your park entry fee waived.
