Connection Hub Berlin - Edition 01: Creatives

Making friends as an adult is genuinely hard. You meet people at events, have a great conversation, exchange numbers, and then... nothing happens. Sound familiar?

This workshop exists because real friendships don't form by accident anymore. They need a little push.

The Connection Hub is a structured but relaxed evening designed to help you meet people you actually want to stay in contact with. No networking, no small talk, no name tag with your job title. Just a room full of creative Berliners who are open to something real.

The evening is built around three phases. First, you'll move through fun, low-pressure warm-up exercises that get everyone talking within minutes. Then you'll go deeper in short one-on-one conversations guided by question cards. Finally, the evening ends with something most events skip completely: a moment to actually plan something together, so "we should hang out sometime" becomes a real plan.

You'll talk to around 10 people in one evening. Some of them will stick.

The format is based on research around the 200-hour rule and the liking gap, two of the most practical findings from friendship science. The short version: it takes more time than you think to build closeness, but the right kind of conversation accelerates everything.

This is for creatives, artists, musicians, designers, writers and anyone who lives a creative life in Berlin. Whether you just moved here or have been here for years and want to expand your circle beyond colleagues and flatmates.

Capacity is 20 people. The evening is donation based, suggested contribution is 10 to 20 euro, paid in cash at the door. No preparation needed on your end. Just show up.

Doors open at 18:00 for a relaxed arrival. The workshop starts at 18:30 sharp.
