The Fire (south) represents our passions, motivational power (or lack of), and the actions we take. It also represents our resilience and ability to adapt and be spontaneous. It is a high energy direction. The energy of the lizard is about moving with efficiency, whilst the energy of the lion reminds us to not get lost in the doing but to connect with our hearts. The lion encourages us to move forward with courage.
This day course is around balancing your inner fire. Whether your inner fire is too big and taking over or whether your fire has almost burnt out, this workshop will help you build a new, well-considered, well-controlled but roaring fire. This course will include a fire ceremony.
It also involves finding what we have lost and how to move forward like the lizard – with efficiency and without burnout!
Indicators of problems in the South include: It can be at either end of the scale; it can be a lack of motivation, or an inability to get going – or it can be an inability to slow down or stop. It can also be seen as productive procrastination, meaning you feel like you are always busy and doing so much but you aren’t getting anywhere. Other indicators are a loss of passion or interests. It feels like there is no balance.
We all have a different type of fire that needs its own kind of nurture. Learn how best to nurture it through ceremonies, sound healing, guided meditations, grounding work, protection strategies and of course, toasting a few marshmallows 😋.
