Queensland’s resource and renewable energy sectors will come together on Wednesday 22 April for the next Connecting Industry Luncheon, featuring two major project proponents - Queensland Magnesia (QMAG) and Windlab.QMAG will provide an update on its operations at Kunwarara and Parkhurst, along with details of its latest innovation supported under Queensland’s Collaborative Development Program, converting magnesite tailings into magnesium metal and advancing Central Queensland’s role in the critical minerals supply chain.
Windlab will outline progress on its major Queensland wind developments, including the 400MW Gawara Baya project in North Queensland and the 1.4GW Bungaban project in South Queensland. With significant capital investment, construction jobs and procurement packages tied to both projects, the presentation will provide valuable insight for contractors and service providers looking to position early.
