Join us for Connecting Communities - A Poudre River Trail Celebration on Saturday, June 13, 2026. This special event celebrates the Poudre River Trail as a continuous, paved, multi-use regional trail connecting Bellvue to Greeley. The day includes a ribbon-cutting at Timnath Community Park along the trail at 9:00 a.m., followed by a community celebration from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event recognizes the many partners, funders, and community members who helped bring this 50-year vision to life.
This free event recognizes the collaboration and investment among local governments, agencies, funders, and community partners who worked together to create this fully connected regional corridor along the Poudre River.
What to expect:
- Recognition of elected officials, agency leaders, funders, project partners, invited stakeholders, media
- Booths hosted by town and city partners, with activities and giveaways
- Booths hosted by community organizations that feature fun and goodies for the whole family
- Meet Wilder from Generation Wild
