Join us for this opportunity to network with other professionals in the field while learning about how we can best nurture the relationship with the families we work with. Connected in Purpose: Advancing Early Intervention Practices for Families and Children.
Choose one, two or all three days.
Day 1: Dr. Vanessa Lapointe and Screening of the documentary, SEEN.
Join former practicing psychologist, now educator, author, and speaker, Dr. Vanessa Lapointe as she opens our 3-day provincial conference with a morning keynote that inspires us to see, hear, and truly connect with families of young children (birth–5 years). Her talk will guide participants in viewing the afternoon screening of the documentary SEEN through a lens of empathy and insight, enriching our support of the families we serve. The day features interactive networking on key early intervention topics including developmental assessment, family engagement, inclusion, cultural safety, and school transitions. Participants will share professional successes, explore challenges, and exchange ideas with peers from across the province. We will close the first day with a screening of SEEN The Film and a live Q&A with Dr. Lapointe, offering a chance to reflect, ask questions, and deepen understanding of the film’s powerful themes.
Day 2 and 3: Dr. Louis Rossetti –Advancing Clinical Practice in Early Childhood Intervention
