CONNECTED IN MOBILITY by Borneo Motors Singapore

22 – 24 May 2026 | Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza | Free Admission

Borneo Motors Singapore (BMS), the authorised distributor for Toyota in Singapore, will host CONNECTED IN MOBILITY — a free three-day public showcase at Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza from 22 to 24 May 2026. The event brings together the Singapore debut of two new electric car models, a commissioned music installation, a nightly waterfront light show, and family programming.

MOVE YOUR WORLD BEAT

Making its Singapore premiere, MOVE YOUR WORLD BEAT is a large-scale immersive installation built around an original track commissioned from Shye, Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 alumna and 2022 NME ‘Best New Act from Asia’ winner.

For the commission, Shye recorded sounds from the Toyota bZ4X, its hum, indicators and ambient electric tones, and wove them with guzheng-inspired guitar and her signature electronic production. The track makes its public debut as the centrepiece of the installation.

Visitors can also step into BEAT CAM, an interactive activation where guests create short-form videos using custom Electric, Hybrid, Heritage and BEAT-inspired filters themed around movement and self-expression.

WHAT ELSE IS ON

HEV & BEV education zone developed with Singapore Polytechnic, featuring a hybrid cut-car exhibit and an augmented reality activation that explains how electric and hybrid drivetrains work: accessibly, without the technical jargon.

Children’s Play Zone built with SP Group, where younger visitors can explore how different vehicles move through hands-on, interactive play.

Nightly waterfront light show at 8:15 PM and 9:15 PM each evening from 22 to 24 May, choreographed against the Marina Bay skyline with synchronised lighting and music.

Community and lifestyle partners including SP Group, Brompton Singapore and Shell are also present across the event, each adding their own dimension to the weekend.

As part of the event experience, visitors who successfully complete the Experience Pass can redeem a deck of limited‑edition Toyota Game Cards, subject to availability while stocks last.

SINGAPORE DEBUT: TWO NEW TOYOTA BEVs

The All-New Urban Cruiser BEV joins Toyota’s EV lineup as a versatile compact SUV tailored for modern city living, combining contemporary style with everyday practicality, making it an ideal companion for urban lifestyles.

The All-New bZ4X Touring BEV builds on the strengths of the existing bZ4X, introducing an additional option for drivers seeking enhanced capability, performance and versatility.

Both models expand Toyota's BEV presence across a broader range of vehicle categories, giving drivers more choice as they move towards electrified mobility.
