The third iteration of Connected Creatives places unabashed joy at the center! Joy as Medicine presents a collection of experiences designed to give you belly laughs and unearth your inner child. This event will include sets from local comedians, a panel discussion on the healing power of humor and levity, and a drop-in art activity from Play More Charlotte, reminiscent of iconic experiences from your childhood. Attendees can expect to connect and network, all while being reminded of the necessity, not luxury, of humor and joy. From the mind of cultural strategist and wellness facilitator Afeni Grace, featuring Sally Stokes and her company Play More Charlotte, designer and upcycling specialist Shekinah Williams, and more!
