Join Johnson County Mental Health and the Lenexa Police Department for an evening of learning, conversation, and connection.
The fentanyl crisis continues to impact families across our community. This free event is designed to help parents, caregivers, and youth better understand the risks of fentanyl while strengthening family communication and support.
The evening includes:
🍽️ A complimentary family dinner
🎤 Separate presentations for parents/caregivers and youth
💬 Guided family conversations to put what you've learned into practice
📚 Free take-home resources to continue the conversation at home
This program is designed for middle school students and older and their parents or caregivers.
What you'll gain:
• Greater awareness of the fentanyl crisis
• Practical communication strategies for talking with youth
• Tools to strengthen family connections
• Resources that support healthy decision-making, resilience, and coping skills
