We're launching a public safety camera-sharing program designed to help enhance community safety, and we want to answer your questions. Over the next few weeks, we are hosting three information sessions around Wake County.
Connect Wake is a voluntary program that helps build an interactive map of registered security cameras in Wake County that will be accessible only to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office. By providing contact information, participants enable investigators to quickly identify potential sources of video evidence and reach out when footage may assist in solving crimes.
Registration does not give the Sheriff's Office direct access to your camera or recordings.
