Stronger Together. Better Connected. Making a Difference!
We are excited about the collaborative moves happening across Galveston County and surrounding communities!

Spiritual Care Network Galveston, Recovery-Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC) of Galveston County, and Texans Together are joining forces to strengthen relationships, connect resources, and create greater opportunities for the individuals and families we serve.

This is what true community collaboration looks like! Bringing together faith communities, behavioral health professionals, recovery advocates, nonprofit organizations, healthcare providers, and everyday people who simply want to make a difference.

YOU ARE INVITED!

MEET OUR FEATURED SPEAKER — LES McCOLGIN, "THE NARCAN MAN!"
We are honored to welcome Les McColgin, Founder of Gulf Coast Outreach Services, to our November Connect & Learn Monthly Meeting!
Les is a passionate recovery advocate and community leader who has turned his personal journey of addiction and recovery into a mission to save lives throughout Galveston County.
Known throughout the community as "The Narcan Man," Les has worked tirelessly to combat fentanyl-related overdose deaths by increasing awareness, reducing stigma, and making life-saving Narcan (naloxone) accessible to those who need it.
Through Gulf Coast Outreach Services, Les has helped establish free Narcan distribution locations across Galveston County, including innovative vending machines that provide access to this life-saving medication.
His message is simple but powerful: Every life matters, every overdose is preventable, and recovery is possible!
Les is a shining example of what happens when lived experience, compassion, and community action come together to make a difference.
IT'S OUR ANNUAL THANKSGIVING POTLUCK!
Come enjoy fellowship, build relationships, exchange resources, and celebrate the incredible people and organizations making a difference in our communities!
GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY:
We are also collecting nonperishable food items for our Thanksgiving Food Drive. Please consider bringing a donation to help families in need.
WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?
Because no single organization can meet every need in our community. But when we come together, share resources, build partnerships, and support one another, we create a stronger network of hope, healing, mental wellness, and recovery.
Whether you represent an organization, work in behavioral health, serve in ministry, advocate for recovery, or simply care about your neighbors — THERE IS A SEAT AT THE TABLE FOR YOU!
We believe collaboration is more than attending meetings. It's about building lasting relationships, removing barriers, connecting people to resources, and working together to create meaningful change throughout Galveston County and beyond.
