Overview

Join us for a networking event, focusing on how to sustain the important work of social change, when social leaders in Wales are dealing with pressures on many fronts such as the outcome of the upcoming elections and uncertainty around funding streams as we enter a new period of government for Wales.

The event is open to leaders from voluntary, community, social enterprise, public and private sectors who want to foster cross sector connections. Whether you are new to leadership or an experienced leader this event is for you. Leaders working outside Newport are also very welcome.

What to expect

Inspiration & Insight: Learn from experienced social purpose leaders about:

the importance of finding the time and space to support their own wellbeing to help sustain their organisation’s important work and;

how promoting a balanced approach to work can have a positive impact on workplace culture.

Practical methods: Explore ways to support your own and your team’s wellbeing.

Community connection: Engage with leaders from across different sectors and expand your network.

Collaborate: Share opportunities and skills with your peers.

Social Leaders Cymru supports and nurtures social leaders, providing a safe and informal space for leaders to connect, facilitating open and honest conversations about the highs and lows of leadership.

This event is part of the Social Leaders Cymru programme funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. Social Leaders Cymru is a partnership programme delivered by Cwmpas, WCVA and Clore Social Leadership. The programme has supported place-based leadership cohorts in Wrexham, Newport, Swansea, and online through our Emerging and Experienced Leaders streams.

Ymunwch â ni ar gyfer digwyddiad rhwydweithio, a fydd yn canolbwyntio ar sut i gynnal gwaith pwysig newid cymdeithasol, pan fydd arweinwyr cymdeithasol yng Nghymru yn delio â phwysau ar sawl ffrynt megis canlyniad yr etholiad sydd i ddod ac ansicrwydd ynghylch ffrydiau cyllido wrth i ni fynd i mewn i gyfnod newydd o lywodraeth i Gymru.

Mae’r digwyddiad yn agored i arweinwyr o’r sectorau gwirfoddol, cymunedol, cyhoeddus a phreifat, ynghyd â mentrau cymdeithasol, sydd eisiau meithrin cysylltiadau traws-sector. P’un a ydych chi’n arweinydd newydd neu brofiadol, dyma’r digwyddiad i chi. Mae croeso hefyd i arweinwyr sydd ddim yn gweithio yng Nghasnewydd/Wrecsam/Abertawe.

Beth i’w ddisgwyl?

Ysbrydoliaeth a Mewnwelediad: Dysgwch gan arweinwyr cymdeithasol profiadol am:

bwysigrwydd dod o hyd i’r amser a’r lle i gefnogi eich lles eich hun i helpu i gynnal gwaith pwysig eu sefydliad, a;

sut gall hyrwyddo ymagwedd gytbwys at waith gael effaith gadarnhaol ar ddiwylliant y gweithle.

Dulliau ymarferol: Archwiliwch ffyrdd o gefnogi eich lles eich hun a’ch tîm.

Cysylltiad cymunedol: Ymgysylltu ag arweinwyr o wahanol sectorau ac ehangu eich rhwydwaith.

Cydweithio: Rhannwch gyfleoedd a sgiliau gyda’ch cyfoedion.

Mae Arweinwyr Cymdeithasol Cymru yn cefnogi ac yn meithrin arweinwyr cymdeithasol, gan ddarparu gofod diogel ac anffurfiol i arweinwyr gysylltu â’i gilydd. Mae hefyd yn hwyluso sgyrsiau agored a gonest am y pethau da a drwg mewn arweinyddiaeth.

Mae’r digwyddiad hwn yn rhan o raglen Arweinwyr Cymdeithasol Cymru a ariennir gan Gronfa Gymunedol y Loteri Genedlaethol. Rhaglen bartneriaeth yw Arweinwyr Cymdeithasol Cymru a ddarperir gan Cwmpas, CGGC a Clore Social Leadership.
