Connacht Presents An Irish Holiday Special will be very special indeed! Last year Connacht and Friends included appearances on stage will be the Dogmatics, Irish Step Dancers and some more surprises you won't want to miss. Join us to celebrate Christmas and the Holidays Ireland style!
Connacht is the very best example of a success story born out of the Fallout Shelter that you could possibly imagine. A virtually unknown band outside of their own circle, the drummer for Connacht stops by the Fallout Shelter one night before a show. He hands us a CD and says the band is pretty good and do we book unknown Irish bands...we put the CD on and within 30 seconds said, "yeah we'll book you for Listen Local in two weeks. They show up, blow the room away with absolutely mind blowing musicianship and authenticity that was incredible to witness. A few weeks later they get a bunch of video from us and start circulating it around...the video goes viral in Ireland and low and behold...Connacht gets picked up by an agency in NYC and played the main stage at the biggest Irish Music Festival in the US in Buffalo NY in 2024 and are gearing up for a three week Ireland Tour in 2025. THAT is a success story from Hollywood...but it happened here in Norwood instead...at any rate Connacht is the REAL DEAL...brilliant players, writers, singers and people. End of story...come and see them!!
The Fallout Shelter is an all ages performance venue welcoming worldwide, world class music in an intimate setting. Our studio audience attends to watch the creation and production of the music television series The Extended Play Sessions. The Fallout Shelter events are immersive experiences for both audience and performers alike...a live music experience like no other. We are fully ADA compliant and have wheelchair access. We have a wide selection of beer and wine for your adult beverage pleasures and each show comes with a free commemorative event poster. Our doors open at 6PM. Seating is General Admission. We recommend you arrive at the time the doors open.
