🌼 Help us forage the wild Gorse Flowers we use to distil our award-winning Dorset Dry Gin 🌼Saturday 11th April 2026, join us for a couple of hours of Gorse Flower picking on the sunny cliff tops of our home town of Southbourne, Dorset.
You'll join Head Conkerer, Rupert and the team on our annual harvest of this key botanical of our Dorset Dry Gin.
When we're done, you're invited to join us for a complimentary Gin & Tonic at the Conker Distillery Taproom. A little thank you for lending us a hand!

10:35 - 🧤 Quick briefing and gorse thorn negotiation training...
10:40 - 13:00 - 🌼 Gorse Flower Pickathon
16:00 - 🍸 G&Ts on Rupert at the Conker Distillery Tap Room (163 Stourvale Road Southbourne, Dorset BH6 5HQ)
🍕 Doughbox Kitchen will be fired up! Gorse picking is hungry work..
REQUIREMENTS:
- We will bring some thick gloves, but it would be great if you could bring your own thick gardening gloves.
- Sunscreen and hat. Water bottle.
- Trousers and long sleeve tops (to avoid those pesky gorse spikes).
- Suitable footwear for navigating uneven wet ground.
- Please arrange for your own transport.
- Please Note: We can't collect gorse if its raining. Wet gorse is no good! In the event that it rains and we have to cancel, we will notify you in advance to let you know when the event will be rearranged.
