CONJURE & CONVERSATION: A Movie Night on Spirit, Story, and Soul
Join Mountain Light’s CUUPS (Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans) group for an evening of film and open-hearted discussion as we screen "Sinners", a thought-provoking NEW film by Ryan Coogler (known for Fruitvale Station and the Black Panther movies).

This story weaves together themes of spirituality, family, music, healing, and resistance through a deeply moving cultural lens.
After the film, ML member and ML CUUPS coordinating officer Crystal Clark will moderate a space for reflection & conversation to support connection, learning, and respectful dialogue.

Sinners is a 2025 American film produced, written, and directed by Ryan Coogler. Set in 1932 in the Mississippi Delta, the film stars Michael B. Jordan in dual roles as criminal twin brothers who return to their hometown to start again where they are confronted by a supernatural evil.
The film co-stars Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton (in his film debut), Jack O'Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Miller, and Delroy Lindo.
