Annie France Noël est artiste visuelle, photographe et travailleuse culturelle. Par sa pratique artistique, elle traduit l’invisible en évocations sensibles, explorant des thématiques liées à l’intimité, à la vulnérabilité et aux expériences humaines partagées.
Lors de cette conférence d’artiste, Annie France présentera un survol de ses plus récentes résidences — à la Fonderie Darling et à la Gare de Matapédia (2024), ainsi qu’au Symposium international d’art contemporain de Baie-Saint-Paul (2025). Elle y abordera l’évolution de ses recherches et les avancées réalisées au fil de ces expériences, en traversant les différents médiums qui composent sa pratique actuelle, dont la photographie, la performance et la vidéo. Elle partagera également l’état actuel de son travail ainsi que les pistes qui orientent la suite de ses explorations.

Annie France Noël is a visual artist, photographer and cultural worker. Through her artistic practice she translates the invisible into sensitive evocations, exploring themes related to intimacy, vulnerability and shared human experiences.
During this artist talk, Annie France will offer an overview of her most recent residencies — at Fonderie Darling and Gare de Matapédia (2024), as well as at the Symposium international d’art contemporain de Baie-Saint-Paul (2025). She will discuss the evolution of her research and the developments that emerged from these experiences, touching on the various media that shape her current practice, including photography, performance, and video. She will also share where her work stands today, along with the directions that are guiding the next steps in her artistic explorations.
