About this Event
Conflict Management: Escaping the Drama Triangle
Participants will explore conflict and define re-enactment (the drama triangle) as behavior that is rooted in the neurobiological impacts of trauma. Participants will consider what drives behavior, learn about the window of tolerance, identify three different roles in the drama triangle, and learn empowering, practical strategies to escape the drama triangle in both professional and personal interactions.
This training provides three (3) contact hours, CEU applicable for most professions. A certificate of attendance will be provided via email after the class.
OBJECTIVES:
- Participants will understand that conflict often triggers predictable behaviors that are rooted in the neurobiological effects of trauma
- Participants will be able to identify three different roles in the drama triangle
- Participants will learn empowering strategies to escape the drama triangle
