The Conference of Atlantic Medical Students (CoAMS) is the premier student-led medical student conference in Atlantic Canada, bringing together medical students, residents, physicians, healthcare & community leaders for a weekend of learning, collaboration, and networking. Join us for a weekend full of engaging discussions, hands-on learning, and meaningful conversations with peers and mentors from across the region.

This year's theme reflects the unique realities of practicing medicine in Saint John and the Maritimes, where close-knit communities, limited resources, and geographic distance demand systems that are grounded in connection, resilience, and local innovation. This conference invites learners and clinicians to explore what thriving in the Atlantic context truly means, spanning from system-level design to individual wellbeing and day-to-day clinical practice, so that no one is left carrying the load alone.
