The Cantare Children’s Choir invites all conductors to join us for a comprehensive choral conducting workshop on 28 October.
Topics will include the following:
• Choice of repertoire (websites, YouTube & arrangements)
• Score analysis
• Finding colour in the layers
• Conducting techniques
• Conducting gestures
• Auditions
• Rehearsals
• Tone quality
• Voice development
Costs for this workshop is R650 per participant. This includes a workbook, refreshments, a light meal and artwork.
