Come along to Jellie Park and hear from Bridget Ford of The Headache Clinic talk about how the fitness industry work with those that suffer from concussion or headaches.Learn about:
• Why people experience headache and migraine symptoms when they attend gyms.
• Basic neck anatomy and the load carried through the neck.
• Exercises to increase and decrease the load through the neck.
• Aspects of concussion and symptoms that flare up with an increase in heart rate and load on the neck.
Bridget Ford is the Director and Senior Headache consultant at the Headache Clinic. Bridget has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and is a Certified Watson Headache Practitioner and is passionate about helping people take back their lives and helping them realise that they can have control of their symptoms instead of feeling like their symptoms control them.
Open to all PT's, Group Fitness Instructors and Fitness Instructors to attend.
