Concord Pond Cleanup

Join the DNREC Division of Watershed Stewardship and Nanticoke Watershed Alliance in celebrating Earth Month by removing trash from the park and areas around Concord Pond and Deep Creek.

We'll be meeting in the park at the intersection of Concord Pond Road and Henry Drive, where volunteers will park, sign in, and grab provided supplies including trash bags, gloves, and trash grabbers. If you have your own trash grabbers, please bring them as supplies are limited. Water and light snacks will be provided. This event is rain or shine- please remember to bring items such as sunscreen or rain jackets.

We'll be cleaning the park, both sides of the street down to German Road, and pond-side of German Road to the boat ramp. If under the age of 18, parental consent form must be signed.
