Concerts in the Park Returns to Hāwera with Crowd Favourite Cassie Henderson! Get ready, South Taranaki —Concerts in the Park is back! On Saturday 24 January, King Edward Park will transform into the ultimate summer stage for an evening of music, sunshine and good vibes.
Kicking things off at 4.30pm, local Party Patrol Duo (favourites Campbell Vibe and Karla Kimi) will warm up the crowd with high energy sing-along covers and feel good anthems you know and love. Then at 6pm, brace yourself for an unforgettable performance from one of New Zealand’s brightest stars, Cassie Henderson.
From busking on Christchurch streets to smashing airplay records once held by Lorde, Cassie has become NZ’s pop storyteller.
Her hits “Whatever” and “Seconds to Midnight” dominated the charts, earned her Best Pop Artist at the Aotearoa Music Awards, and proved she’s the voice of a generation navigating love and life.
South Taranaki District Council Events Coordinator Ella Tosland says Cassie is currently lighting up TV screens on The Voice Australia and is bringing her signature energy and powerhouse vocals to Hāwera for one night only.
"We’re thrilled to bring this incredible lineup to King Edward Park," says Ella. “It’s the perfect chance for families and whānau to relax, soak up the summer vibes, and enjoy world-class music right here in Hāwera. Pack a picnic, grab something from our food vendors, and make a night of it!”
