We are pleased to announce that 2026 marks the Historic Boston-Edison Association's 100th anniversary and the 17th Season of Concerts in Boston-Edison! This year's season will honor a century of community with six performances featuring five world-class, award-winning ensembles, including Grammy nominees.
Each unique event in a beautiful Boston-Edison home will include a special curated menu of fine food and drinks to complement your concert experience!
Concerts in Boston-Edison reserves the right to make program changes if necessary.
The second concert in the series features the world music sounds of bassist Pathe Jassi. Pathe hails from Senegal, Africa, but has adopted Detroit as his second home for over 20 years. He is an in-demand performer locally, nationally and internationally. His music combines traditional West African rhythms with jazz for a truly unique world music sound. Pathe spent half of his career playing and recording alongside legendary West African singers Youssou N’Dour of Senegal and Cheikh Lo of Burkina Faso. He returns to Concerts in Boston-Edison with his ensemble, having been one of the first artists showcased on the series when it began.
This concert is outdoors under a tent. PLEASE NOTE: There is a rain date of June 14 at the same time.
