Hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, Young Widows have evolved from angular post-hardcore into a moody, atmospheric fusion of post-punk and gothic folk. Formed in 2006 by former members of Breather Resist, the trio has inspired a global following of underground artists with their unique collage of noise-rock, hardcore, and post-punk and pioneering presentation.
Following an 11-year creative hiatus, their 2025 release, Power Sucker, proved they remain masters at making music with equal parts sonic and emotional weight. With sizzling guitars, growling bass, and locked-in percussion, they retain all the visceral shock and wonder of a band just getting started.
𝗔𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥
AICHER is the work of Berlin-based artist Liam Andrews, with additional production from his MY DISCO spar Rohan Rebeiro, an experimental percussionist and erstwhile collaborator of Roland S. Howard and HTRK. Together, they make resoundingly coarse, bullish industrial music.
