Concert: The Golden Hours - Topsham

Join Exeter Chamber Choir for The Golden Hours, a musical journey that captures the fleeting beauty of a single day, from the breathtaking clarity of James MacMillan’s O Radiant Dawn to the shimmering, immersive textures of Eric Whitacre’s Water Night. We are especially proud to feature the premiere of Four Summer Songs, a brand-new set of works composed for Exeter Chamber Choir by our Music Director, Andrew Daldorph, alongside contemporary gems by Lucy Walker and Stephen Paulus and piano interludes by Alex Wilson.
As the sun sets, the second half of our programme celebrates the nostalgic charm of the "Golden Age" with close-harmony arrangements of beloved classics, including A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square and Some Enchanted Evening. Together with favourites by Holst and Balfour Gardiner, this concert promises something for everyone in an evening of warmth, reflection, and choral excellence.
Adult tickets £12 in advance online, £15 on the door.
Child/student tickets FREE.
