Concert Series: Memphis Jazz Workshop

Creative Aging is thrilled to welcome Memphis Jazz Workshop to the Concert Series at Kroc Center Memphis! Memphis Jazz Workshop (MJW) is a group of award-winning musicians, vocalists, and instructors dedicated to cultivating the future of jazz through education and preservation. They aim to spark a renaissance of jazz culture in Memphis youth, under the guidance of musicians who have lived the art form. MJW is a music education resource helping young people further advance their instrumental and/or vocal craft and allowing them to explore Jazz music as a hobby, or ultimately, a career. This program will give you an inspiring introduction to Jazz and to Memphis Jazz Workshop’s mission of creating the next generation of high-quality jazz musicians.
