This concert is in honor of the Czech Music Year, celebrating the anniversaries of luminary Czech composers. In recognition of Czech musical heritage, the concert includes the Pavel Haas String Quartet no. 1 and the Gideon Klein String Trio. We celebrate the centenary birth of Bedřich Smetana with his String Quartet no. 1 in E minor, “From My Life.”
*There will be a post-concert reception generously sponsored by Ruth and Richard Ault.
