MEAGAN CHURCH

Meagan Church is the best-selling author of two emotionally-charged, empathy-inducing novels: The Girls We Sent Away and The Last Carolina Girl. She apologizes for the tears her stories sometimes cause. After receiving a B.A. in English from Indiana University, Meagan built a career as a freelance writer, and was the editor and publisher of a literary journal. She helps authors tell their own stories through book coaching and editing. A Midwesterner by birth, she now lives in North Carolina with her high school sweetheart, three children and a plethora of pets. She hopes to one day add an otter to the mix.

KELLY MUSTIAN

Kelly Mustian grew up in Natchez, Mississippi, the southern terminus of the historic Natchez Trace. Her work has appeared in numerous literary journals and commercial magazines, and she was awarded the Mississippi Library Association’s 2023 Author Award for Fiction. Her debut novel, The Girls in the Stilt House, is a USA Today and SIBA bestseller and was shortlisted for the 2022 Crook’s Corner Book Prize. Kelly currently lives in North Carolina.
