Concert Series: Annie and the Caldwells
Their latest album "Can’t Lose My (Soul)" has been hailed by critics as a modern gospel landmark, blending sacred tradition with raw, contemporary energy. THE GUARDIAN called it “a masterpiece to drag you out of despair,” while POPMATTERS said it “transcend(ed) time, place, and — on occasion — even the most unshakable atheism” and MOJO said it “may just get you through any darkness looming on the horizon…or simply get you dancing.”
Ms. Annie is backed by daughters Deborah and Anjessica, and goddaughter Toni Rivers; their eldest son Willie Jr. is on the bass and youngest son Abel Aquirius is on the drums. Their father and Annie’s husband of the last fifty years, Willie Joe Caldwell, Sr., is on guitar.
Season Ticket Holders, Circle Society Donors, and Corporate Partners enjoy access to an exclusive lounge before the show with complimentary drinks and a special performance by Broadway star Fergie L. Philippe.
