Bring a lawn chair and enjoy an evening of live Detroit music on the outdoor stage at Legends Plaza. The night begins with a DJ set from 5:30–6:30 p.m., setting the tone for a celebration of the sounds that helped define the city.
At 6:30 p.m., the Joan Belgrave & Bill Meyer Group takes the stage with Salute Motown, featuring special guest Chisholm. After a brief intermission, the evening continues with the Next Generation Funk Brothers, led by Ralph Armstrong, from 7:45–8:45 p.m.
