Quincy Animal Shelter invites the public to an intimate afternoon of music with veteran classical guitarist Dave McLellan as part of his charitable Concert in Your Living Room series on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Quincy Historical Society (8 Adams Street, Quincy, MA). All proceeds benefit Quincy Animal Shelter.
McLellan’s program features works by living women composers including Errollyn Wallen, Avril Kinsey, Olga Amelkina-Vera, and a newly commissioned piece, by Boston composer Francine Trester, which incorporates original poems and color drawings. The program also includes music by Leo Brouwer and Bryan Johansen, blending modern classical guitar with poetry, humor, nature sounds, and special effects.
