Join us at 6:00 pm at St Michael at the North Gate Church, Oxford for a special evening concert by the Chamber Orchestra of the University of the Commission of National Education in Kraków.
The programme brings together European Baroque music by Rameau and Vivaldi with works by Polish composers Feliks Janiewicz, Mieczysław Karłowicz, Tadeusz Baird and Wojciech Kilar.
Discover Feliks Janiewicz (1762–1848), a Polish violin virtuoso and composer with strong connections to British musical life, hear Baird's music inspired by William Shakespeare, and experience the energy of Kilar's Orawa.

About the Orchestra
Founded in 2005, the Chamber Orchestra of the University of the Commission of National Education in Kraków has established itself as one of Poland's most active and internationally recognised university ensembles.
The orchestra brings together outstanding young musicians from Kraków and performs a wide-ranging repertoire including Baroque, Classical, Romantic, contemporary, film and popular music.
Each year the orchestra presents around 13 artistic projects, including international tours, educational initiatives and collaborative performances.
The ensemble has performed throughout France, Spain, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary, promoting Polish music and culture to international audiences.
