Jazz Ensemble vous propose un voyage au cœur d’une époque marquante du jazz : le Hard Bop, un style énergique et « groovy » né de la rencontre du bop, du gospel et du blues.Pour recréer cette ambiance unique, Raoul Cyr s’entoure de musiciens chevronnés : Alain Boyer (batterie), Michel Dubeau (sax ténor et baryton), Richard Leduc (sax alto et ténor), Daniel Loyer (piano) et Michel Viau (contrebasse). Ensemble, ils interprètent des pièces cultes qui ont marqué l’histoire du jazz, telles que Moanin’, Song For My Father, Killer Joe, Nica’s Dream… et bien d’autres ! Laissez-vous séduire par ce répertoire vibrant qui plaira autant aux passionnés qu’aux curieux.

To recreate this unique atmosphere, Raoul Cyr is joined by seasoned musicians: Alain Boyer (drums), Michel Dubeau (tenor and baritone sax), Richard Leduc (alto and tenor sax), Daniel Loyer (piano), and Michel Viau (double bass). Together, they perform iconic pieces that shaped jazz history, such as Moanin’, Song For My Father, Killer Joe, Nica’s Dream… and many more!
