UPDATE POSTED 9/5/2025: Due to the forecast of thunderstorms on Saturday evening, and out of concern for the safety and comfort of all our visitors and staff, Concert & Kiln is POSTPONED to Saturday, September 13, 2025. If you have already purchased tickets, your tickets will be valid for the new date. If you are unable to attend on the 13th, please contact the Country Bank Visitor Center by emailing [email protected] with your order number. Thank you for your understanding! ORIGINAL EVENT DETAILS:
Enjoy a special evening in the Village after our normal hours of operation, featuring our annual kiln firing and music by the Old Sturbridge Village Singers and music historian Tom Vaughn. Explore the world of 19th-century pottery as you examine some artifacts from the OSV Museum Collection, learn about household pottery, chat with the Village’s potters about the firing, and learn about the types of ceramics that would have been available in rural stores like the Asa Knight Store. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic! The public is also invited to participate in the Village Ceramics Show! Visit our website for details.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required! $10 for members, $15 for non-members
