The MCO will combine with the Waco High School Lion Pride Orchestra to present a family-friendly Introduction to the Orchestra, featuring recognizable selections from movies and classical works, including:A Tribute to John Williams (Themes from Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Jaws, Harry Potter, and more!)
Music from How to Train Your Dragon
The Introduction to Also sprach Zarathustra (used in 2001: A Space Odyssey, Barbie, and others)
Copland’s Hoe-Down (“Beef: It’s what’s for dinner.”)
Come join us to learn about the instruments of the orchestra and hear some familiar favorites.
