Concealed Carry Handgun Safety Course

OCC's Handgun Safety Course is taught by NYS DCJS-certified firearms instructors and fulfills requirements for obtaining a unrestricted pistol permit "Concealed Carry Permit" in Onondaga, Madison, Oswego, and Seneca counties.

This course is a 16 hour class room experience with an additional 2 hours of live fire range experience. Students will be expected to bring their issued course materials every day of the course. Students will be expected to pass a written final exam to complete the class room portion of the course. Students will then be expected to pass the live fire portion of course using simunition firearms. The course is held over 4 days in 4-5 hour classroom sessions and 1-3 hour " range day" session and written test. Last date starts at 4:30pm and concludes at 7:30pm for testing purposes

DO NOT BRING ANY FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION TO THIS COURSE. ALL COURSE MATERIALS TO INCLUDE FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION WILL BE PROVIDED.
