Comstock Johnson Architects Firm Tour

It is time for you to get to know the local firm and learn about their company, culture, and meet their design team!

Our chapter will visit the Comstock Johnson Architects Office in Rancho Cordova! Join us for an exclusive tour of CJA ! Explore the innovative design work and cutting-edge architecture behind one of the industry's leading firms. Please see the guidelines below

1. MAKE A GOOD IMPRESSION and dress appropriately. Try to wear business casual, casual, or professional clothes. Please no flip flops, shorts, or sweat pants. This might be your first time meeting them, so dress to impress as you might be meeting your future boss. :)

2. RESEARCH! - Check out their website and the projects they do. We are representing our chapter and Sac State Design program. Let us show them that we are dedicated, enthusiastic, and capable students! :) If you see something interesting on their website, share it with them and use it as a starting topic. This is your chance to ask questions not only about their company and their day to day responsibilities but also to create a connection. IT IS OKAY TO NOT KNOW EVERYTHING or ANYTHING. Simply just ask questions! :)

3.PARKING: Please arrive at the location 15 minutes earlier so you have time to look for parking. Parking cost is not included in the tour. Plan ahead if you and your friends are planning to do carpool.

4. Don't hesitate to talk to their team. Whether you want to thank them for allowing us to tour their office or asking how their day is going. DON'T FORGET to ask for their business cards!! (Make sure to follow up the next day or after the event!)

5. and lastly, Have a great time! :) We look forward to seeing you there!
