Welcome to the Science and Engineering Academy, where curiosity and creativity come to life! This February, we’re diving into the exciting world of Computer Science Engineering! Your child will explore how computers work and how to build their own digital creations through hands-on activities.
What Will Your Child Learn?
- Building with Computers: Students will learn how to write simple instructions (called code) to make computers and robots do fun tasks, like playing games or solving puzzles!
- Designing and Creating: Your child will get to be an engineer, using their creativity to build new tools and gadgets, just like real Computer Science Engineers!
- Problem-Solving Skills: They'll work through challenges, think like engineers, and discover how to make their ideas come to life on the computer!
Hands-On Fun
In this exciting month, kids will not only discover how computers help solve real-world problems, but also take part in cool projects like designing a game, programming a robot, or creating their own app!
Our program is aligned with California Content Standards, ensuring that learning is both fun and educational.
