One day symposium connecting London’s computational, AI and biotech communities to spark collaboration and accelerate discovery
About this Event

Previously advertised as In Silico @ The Crick, renamed to avoid confusion with an existing London seminar series.

This event brings together computational researchers from across London's leading institutions, including the Francis Crick Institute, UCL, Imperial, and King's, alongside the AI and biotech community around King's Cross, to spark new collaborations between computational and experimental science.

The programme spans three themes: omics, biomolecular design, and lab in the loop.

The day features invited and contributed talks, plus poster sessions selected from submitted abstracts, with plenty of time for informal discussion over coffee, lunch, and an evening reception. We welcome researchers at all career stages and especially encourage early-career researchers to present their work.

Abstract submission through here. Closes September 4th

Confirmed speakers include Michael Sternberg (Imperial), Stefano Angioletti-Uberti (Imperial), Michael Howell (the Crick), Mihaela van der Shaar (the Crick) and a talk on AlphaGenome (Google DeepMind), with more to be announced.

Please don't hesitate to get in touch with any questions at [email protected].

Looking forward to seeing you there,
Computational Biology Symposium organising committee
Marta Sadlej and Alexandru Nicolae-Popescu
